Requires contractors to display fraud, waste, and abuse hotline posters (DoD or agency IG hotline) prominently in contractor work areas and to provide them to employees.
When This Clause Applies
Required in contracts exceeding $5M and 120-day performance, with DoD requirements applying to most DoD contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold.
What This Means for Contractors
Contractors must display agency-specific hotline posters in primary work areas, distribute to employees, and not retaliate against employees who report through the hotline.
Common Pitfalls
- 1Forgetting to display posters at remote work sites and customer locations
- 2Inadequate distribution to remote and offshore employees
